Dear Friends and Fellow-Servants in Christ,

Since my Jay Sr.'s passing on May 20, 2008, I have been seeking God's guidance and will for the continuation of this ministry. I have been in discussions with a Christian couple from the Isle of Man, a Christian brother from California, as well as fellow Christians like yourselves about the ongoing direction of the ministry of SGP and where the capital might come from to continue the ministry direction. Over the past fifty-four years, SGP has been blessed and enabled by the Master to be a publisher of sound Christian books and accurate Bible translations to the flock. I am seeking to continue the ministry's publication efforts but with a twist. I am seeking help in developing a multi-language Hebrew-Greek Interlinear database that can be used by nations throughout the world. One that will not only show the Hebrew-Greek-English translation but also all the other languages of the world.

The help that I need will be for

1. Volunteers to assist in populating the database with other languages as well as from the Interlinear Bible,
2. Tithes and donations to finance the staff necessary to make this database possible.

I am also continuing to seek money to get the KJ3 in print and ask your prayers for that purpose. I am trying to get the KJ3 reformatted in a smaller type size to get the page count down from 1200 pages to 828, which is the most that can be done by the print on demand publishers. This will allow us to come out with a paperback and hardback edition in a relatively quick period of time. What I lack is the time to get this done and therefore am seeking some volunteers or mnoney to help in getting this done as well. Volunteers will need a copy of Adobe Pagemaker to help with this.

In discussions with my father's and my cardiologist, Dr. Wright, as to what it would take to get the entire KJ3 in print in some format, I told her the man hours it would take to convert the current 1,200 pages format down to under 828 pages, the most that can be done by print on demand printers, which we then calculated the cost to reformat at $8,400. Dr. Wright stated that she could cover one-third of the cost over the next three months if we could find others to put up the other $5,600. I have this morning received an email from another Christian brother willing to help do some of the work on a volunteer basis which reduces the cost. Lightning Source, our print on demand publisher, has offered us free setups on converting our existing Print on Demand hard cover titles to paperback titles. They have held this offer open to me for over a year, but have informed me this morning July 10, that the offer will expire on 8/31/08. They can convert the text files without a problem, but it is the cover files that have been bogging me down. Therefore if any of you possess Adobe Photoshop, or Corel Photo Paint or Adobe Pagemaker and can help us due this it would be much appreciated and definitely a contribution to our Master's kingdom.

While many prefer hard cover titles for their libraries, this will lower the retail cost of acquiring these valuable books by $18.00 per title. For instance on the 22 volume set of the Works of Thomas Manton that would mean that we could sell the paperback edition as low as $249.00 with a retail price of $660.00, on the 28 volume Elsie Dinsmore series, the retail would be $549, the set would be $279 or about $10 per volume. All of the titles would still be available in hardback for the library collectors that want the hard covers, but the outreach of these works will now be able to many more brothers and sisters in the Kindom. The staff to do this internally over the next seven weeks will cost about $2,800.

I am hopeful that within the next few weeks we might have obtained some of the funding for me to bring you even better news, but must wait until the Lord develops that a bit further.

I guess that is a quick note for now. I'll try to update this page more often as we go forward.
