This is Volume XII of Goodwin's Works. Sermons, Notes (Outlines) of Sermons, and Indexes
Sermon 1: A Demonstration of the Immediate State of Glory For the Spirits of Just Men Upon Dissolution
''For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens'' (2 Corinthians 5:1).
It is as if he had said, If this inward man is destituted of one house, we have another. In verse 4, we groan that this life may be exchanged by that which is life indeed, the only true life.
Sermon 2: The Great Interest of States and Kingdoms.
Sermon 3: A glimpse of Zion’s Glory; the Churches’ Beauty Specified. (Rev. 19:6) When Babylon has fallen, then Zion is raised, and the Lord God Omnipotent reigns, Christ shall reign gloriously.
Sermon 4: The World to Come; the Kingdom of Christ Asserted.
Sermon 5: Zerubbabel's Encouragement to Finish the Temple.
Appendix A: Profitable Sayings of Thomas Goodwin.
Sermon Outlines 1-7: (Romans 1:21, 22) ''They knew God, but glorified Him not as God, neither were thankful, professing themselves wise, they were fools.''

Part of Goodwin's Epitaph: ''None ever entered deeper into the mysteries of the Gospel, or more clearly unfolded them for the benefit of others. The matter, the form, the discipline . . . he traced with an uncommon sagacity. . . . He was eminently qualified by the light of Sacred Truth to pacify troubled consciences, to dispel the clouds of mistake, and remove needless scruples, from perplexed minds, in knowledge, wisdom, and eloquence he was a truly Christian pastor,'' etc.
Goodwin (1600-1679) was influential in many ways, a member of the Westminster Assembly, President of Magdalene College, drafter of the Savoy Confession of Faith, and pastor at the most influential Independent church in London. 344 pages, blue hard cover
